Who is Shipshape Life?
Shipshape Life, LLC is owned
and operated by Lisa Shiroma Collins.
In addition to being a professional organizer, she is currently an officer in the Naval Reserve and a 1997 graduate of the
U.S. Naval Academy. She served
seven years on active duty as a surface warfare officer (SWO), specializing in combat systems, in operations, and as a briefer
for deploying carrier and amphibious strike groups.
Prior to starting her company, Lisa was a part of The Home Depot’s extremely
selective Store Leadership Program.
As a manager-in-training, she
was trained in Six Sigma processes and was an assistant manager in two stores. She departed Home Depot after she was
mobilized to active duty here in Pearl Harbor, HI.
Although Lisa has moved around
quite a bit with the Navy, her roots are in here Hawaii. She is the granddaughter of Okinawan plantation workers from
Ewa who became entrepreneurs and started the old Shiroma Dairy in Honomu, on the Big Island!
Lisa is
the proud wife of a naval officer and the proud mother of a wonderful boy and two dogs. She is a provisional member
of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO), and belongs to the Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii.
